The policies below supersede all previous policies:
MINIMUM ORDER:
Our minimum order is $25.00 (merchandise value) plus shipping and handling.
For OEM parts minimum order is $5.00 (merchandise value) plus shipping and handling.
BACKORDERS:
All out of stock items will be backordered unless otherwise specified. Global Electronic
Supplies is not responsible for the time it takes to receive factory backorders.
Upon receiving backordered items we will try to combine all backorders with any regular
orders in our system to save on shipping charges. Any combination of backorders and
regular orders meeting the $25.00 minimum shipping charges will be shipped using the
carrier’s basic rate chart.
AVOID DUPLICATION: DO NOT REORDER BACK ORDERS
Service Centers have 90 days to return for credit any parts containing a DUD fee.
SUBSTITUTION:
Whenever possible we will supply a guaranteed substitute for an out of
stock item unless otherwise instructed.
DISCONTINUED MERCHANDISE:
Some items may be no longer available from
manufacturers and no substitutes are available.
WARRANTY:
All products / replacements are guaranteed for 30 days from the first
invoice date. The only liability Global Electronic Supplies Inc. has is limited to the
replacement of the defective part.
DISCLAIMER:
There are no other warranties, either expressed or implied which extend
the foregoing, and there are no warranties of merchantability or fitness for any particular
purpose. We will not be responsible for incidental or consequential damage due to
defective or improper use of products.
RETURNS:
Global Electronic Supplies Inc. does not cover shipping charges for
returning products (damaged, unwanted or exchanges). Customers have 10 days from
the time they received their order to notify us of a short shipment or incorrect parts
received. Based on the original invoice date, customers must notify us within 30 days or
within the product’s manufacturer’s warranty to exchange defective parts. Customers
have 30 days from invoice date to return unwanted parts for credit; the product must be
in original packaging and in a resalable condition. Restocking fees will apply.
There are no returns on generic ICs, transistors, printed materials & software.
Restocking fees:
30% on regularly stocked items, and 50% on Canon products. Special
ordered items are not returnable.
Cancellation fees:
All cancelled orders are subject to cancellation fees.
If a customer receives a damaged parcel they must either decline the shipment or sign
the waybill indicating damage. Picture tubes and screens, mirrors should be inspected
before signing the waybill. Any physical damage to the parcel must be reported
immediately to receive credit.
All customers who pay cash for their parts and return them on the same day may receive
cash back once the product is inspected. A cheque will be sent to the customer for all
other returns to the counter with an invoice amount over $50.00. A restocking fee will
apply.
If a customer wants to exchange a product at our counter it can be done on the spot with
no cost to the customer if the following criteria is met:
a) Product is from a defective lot from the manufacturer.
b) Type of malfunction already known to Global’s staff
c) Customer wants same product but in a different colour (price must be the same
between the two products)
